WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (July 3)

3. The Fixer

TNA Impact Tyrus

TNA aired some promos on Impact talking about “The Fixer." They were kind of interesting, as they seemed to hint that this was a new wrestler coming, but they gave it all away at the end of the night: it’s Tyrus. Oh, hey Tyrus. Where've you been?

The man is now a face, and apparently fixes things for people if they need help and have some money. He’s kind of like a one man APA, or Kronik, when they ripped off that gimmick from the APA.

The bad thing here isn’t so much the lukewarm Tyrus return, as the fact that he basically beat a new team and their coach on his own. His partners Mahabali Shera and Grado didn’t do a lot to help him out, and The Tribunal lost in their second match in the promotion. Getting squashed by the former Funkasauras the second time we see them compete doesn’t say much for their credibility. That could use some fixing.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
