WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (June 26)

“This changes everything.”-Dixie Carter on Impact.
Oh, I wish it did. But it really doesn’t at all, as it’s more authority figures bickering, as we saw Billy Corgan and Dixie Carter finally unleash all that non-existent pent up tension against each other.
After Corgan joined TNA, he did a series of interviews with the media talking about what it takes to make a successful wrestling promotion in this era. He seemed to have a solid grasp of the business, and knew a lot about the history. Amazingly, he also talked about leaving himself off-air. After all, a wrestling show is about wrestlers. Well, that didn’t last too long.
It’s not so much Billy being on-air that’s frustrating, because he does have some mainstream popularity, it’s that he’s brought Dixie Carter with him. For starters, she makes him about 90% less cool, as she already beyond wore out her welcome as a character when she turned heel and battled MVP over who could be the worse owner.
Dixie has likely been watching as of WWE late, and wondered why she wasn’t belittling her wrestlers and showing her physical dominance over them like Stephanie McMahon does. So, she decided it was time to change all that. Last week she slapped Maria to the mat, which will absolutely not lead to a match. Well, since it won't, might as well scrap everything else they have planned for this angle.
