WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Mar 26)

3. The Worst Of Times

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s9EU5IG_ti0 So our wrestling isn€™t very good these days, and the promotions themselves are the ones telling us! A few weeks ago, Shane McMahon pointed out the Raw's falling ratings ON AIR, and this week Drew Galloway said he wants to €œPut TNA on the damn map again.€ It€™s such a bizarre promotional tactic to say that what we€™ve been watching hasn€™t been very good, but hey, stick around, because it might get better! I think Drew has a lot of potential, and has proven in TNA that WWE made a big mistake on letting him go. He could easily be one of their top three faces right now if positioned right. But all that said, his line was a bit silly, and damaging to say. A lot of fans don€™t follow the ratings, or keep up on the backstage drama, so to them this may be their favorite era ever. The last time the company really was €œon the map€ they got destroyed quickly in the second version of the Monday Night Wars, had Hulk Hogan and Bubba the Love Sponge under contract, and Vince Russo was the head writer. Maybe being off the map isn't so bad.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
