WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (March 13)

7. Misterrrrrrrr Fiiiiiiired. Fired.

"I don't work for TNA anymore, so I agree with you, f**k TNA!" -Mr. Anderson at an independent show.
A lot of former WWE talent have come to TNA over the years, but few had as much left to give as the former Mr. Anderson did. He was slated for big things under Vince McMahon, but due to an ill-timed injury, a wellness policy violation, a reputation for injuring others, and a propensity to steal toilet seats (that last one may be made up), he was let go in his prime. Starting at his new home in 2010, he was an exciting addition...that just never quite clicked. He had two forgettable runs with the TNA World Title, and turned more times than perhaps anyone on the roster during his tenure. The man could still talk, but his character never evolved. This past week it was reported that he was let go from his job for failing a drug test after putting in a horrendous performance against Eric Young in an un-aired match. A once promising career that is likely now over in a major company. Had he been revealed as Vince McMahon€™s storyline son, which was the original plan years ago, or had he successfully cashed in his Money in the Bank contract, instead of having to drop it, his career would have been entirely different. We could potentially be talking about Mr. Kennedy in the WWE Hall of Fame in a few years. He could still be battling younger talent like Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. It€™s tough to say for sure, but it€™s likely it would have ended much better than this. Hopefully Anderson finds his footing somewhere, as going out in such a disappointing, anticlimactic way would be a bad way for the a**hole to be silenced.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
