WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (March 20)

WWE sure is making it hard for us to get excited about WrestleMania!

This was a week in professional wrestling filled with so many bad things that R-Truth dressing up as a penguin doesn€™t even make the worst list. For starters, HHH had the most ridiculous line of the week, or possibly the year when he claimed that the crowd loved Roman Reigns. The crowd then obviously booed loudly. If only he€™d listened to their reaction over the past year to know that line wasn€™t going to work. Also, what is with this company and continuing to slut shame Lana? Rock was the most recent a-hole until Paige jabbed at her with €œYou bounce from man to man.€ Huh. Rusev to Dolph to Rusev in the course of over two years constitutes as bouncing around? Well, on the plus side of things, Chris Jericho is doing his best work in years, Mick Foley had a great cameo on Raw, and Impact is consistently more entertaining than they€™ve perhaps ever been. But something is not quite right. WrestleMania is only a couple weeks away, and the hype doesn€™t feel so hot. Mania should feel like Christmas, instead it feels more like the Labor Day of pay-per-views. WWE is making it hard to get excited for their two top matches, as every time Shane McMahon or Roman Reigns open their mouths, things get bad. The title match is the least intriguing one since Hunter last put himself in the main event at Mania 25. But let€™s not waste any more time. Go buy yourself a baseball bat, paint your face up, and let€™s Stinger Splash our way through WWE and TNA€™s worst of the week!

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
