So, the theme of Worst of the Week this week appears to be: management makes stories a lot less interesting because the wrong people lose. Last week I complained about the treatment of Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, and its only becoming more absurd. Vince McMahon may be stumped on why theyre not getting over in a big way yet, here is a hint for him: Stop making them lose!

On Raw, the two were pinned within 10 minutes of their match, and since its elimination tag theyd only put in a few minutes each. It was a terrible booking situation, that only made the companys newest promising stable look painfully ordinary. Poor Gallows, the man already had to go through that with The Straight Edge Society.

Remember when Luke Harper and Erick Rowan started out as two huge guys that we were told were super badass, but then would always lose? Weve found our new Rowan and Harper, but with smaller beards. Bullet Club in New Japan and ROH is cool, The Club in WWE is really disappointing. We want to feel that this is only chapter one of a storyline, maybe chapter two introduces Finn Balor. If thats the case, then his buddies should look devastatingly strong when he joins them.

If a new era is built around promising talent losing in unspectacular fashion, then lets go back to the last era. Or...maybe like four eras before that. That Attitude one was kind of fun!

Time to kick out.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
