Damien Sandow, I hate to say this, but go away. A few weeks ago he complained how management never found him entertaining, and right now hes never been less entertaining. For a guy that initially seemed destined for great things, hes now taken on the gimmick of dressing up as other wrestlers again. Stevie Richards, Charlie Haas and The Big Show all played this role in the past and it did nothing for their careers. The fourth time is not a charm. Now the former Money in the Bank holder dresses up as a wrestler who died a few years ago for an act. Even if he was actually good at the impression, it would be stupid. But hes not. You could find someone who does a better Savage voice at any office or restaurant in the country. His mannerisms are off too. If the only reason he became Savage is because theres a guy on the roster who does a Hogan impression, then why not have him portray a different Hogan partner that he can at least imitate somewhat succesfully? Were painfully short on Brutus the Barber Beefake imitators these days. Also, Jay Lethal did a Macho Man act for what felt like five years in TNA, and he was 10 times better than Sandow. But that gimmick grew stale fast too. Lastly, why did none of the announcers acknowledge that this exact match between Mandow and Curtis Axel happened on Main Event. The exact same. A rerun of a rerun of a rerun. Kind of sums up 90% of WWE these days. Time to kick out. That's all for this week. Agree? Disagree? What was your worst wrestling moment of the week? Sound off below and thanks for reading!
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
