4. Time Travel To Cancel This Segment

New Day is hugely hit or miss with their material, and this weeks time travel escapade was a bit of a miss. Ill give them credit for thinking outside of the box by airing a segment revolving around a cardboard box.

I dont know, maybe its just me, but Im not a big fan of breaking the fourth wall in wrestling. I did laugh at Kofi saying he wanted to go back to 2009, but then I can't help but groan, because it's like hes saying Hey, remember when I used to do that fake thing? Well, that wasnt real, but what you're watching right now totally is!

It took me back to last year when Kofi said country music is terrible, and that it wasn't just his character saying that. You're not on Malcolm in the Middle, Kofi. Stop talking to the audience!

The follow-up was also lacking, as The Vaudevillains got the best of New Day with a big beatdown, but by the time SmackDown came around New Day was back to their old cheery, wise cracking selves. It was a time to dial up the intensity leading into the pay-per-view, but the company would rather joke around instead.
