Its a fact that if you add an X to anything in wrestling it makes it better. D-Generation X, The X-Division, and um.X-Factor with Prince Albert? Right now TNA has Ultimate X, which is probably the coolest concept theyve ever come up with. This is closely followed by the Reverse Battle Royal, the Doomsday chamber of blood match, and the Dixie Carter Classic, where the goal of the match is to spend your parents money as fast as you can on WCW wrestlers from the 90s. She's undefeated in the match.

While Ultimate X used to be a spectacle, it came back this week, unannounced and lasted six whole minutes. What. Was. The. Point? There were so many talented people in the match like Trevor Lee, Andrew Everett and Eddie Edwards, but there was absolutely no storyline support to justify the Ultimate X needing to be constructed. It was just a waste, and continued to devalue their once great concept.

Its a shame that Ultimate X means nothing anymore, because the excitement level for it showing up is now is somewhere in between a Punjabi Prison match and a Kiss Me Arse match.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
