WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (May 3)

3. Bella€™s Turn

WWE€™s storytelling has to be the absolute worst on TV. No other show, not even a children€™s show, could possibly be so lazy as to make a couple good guys into bad guys, and then back again, all without any sort of explanation. Naomi has recently turned heel, and because of this the Bellas have been turned face again. That€™s the only reason there seems to be. Oh, and maybe because Daniel Bryan is hurt and Brie Bella is married to him? But when she€™s evil, and he€™s healthy, the two are not married for all intents and purposes. Now it€™s clear that WWE doesn€™t care, but do they think no one else does? The Bellas have more or less been the face of the division for a few years, yet Rosa Mendes gets an actual reason for turning heel, and they don€™t. For fans to get invested in their characters, they need to give us a reason to support them. Can WWE just decide what they are and give us a reason? Brie kicking Naomi in the face to help her sister win is the sign of a heel, her heartfelt story on her husband was not. Let's just take them off TV for a few years until WWE can get this figured out.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
