At 8:52 ET, Enzo and Came out to the ring, three other teams followed. At 9:03, New Day’s music hit. At 9:12, the segment ended and their match began. At 9:23 the match ended and we moved right into an R-Truth and Goldust sketch. At 9:24 I began drinking alcohol to get through the rest of the show.

Twenty minute segments that feel like an hour. That is what these three hour Raws represent to me. WWE was clearly going for humor here, but you could have watched almost any sitcom on TV in the time they took for just the in-ring promo, and it would have been infinitely funnier.

I don’t know...I mean, Braveheart is a great movie. I’ve seen it multiple times. But it came out over 20 years ago. It just seems like that would be the absolute most obvious thing to suck up to the Scottish crowd with, and so, New Day went for it.

They may not have been able to take my freedom, but they sure as hell took away my interest in the rest of the show.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
