Tyler Breeze made his in-ring main roster debut on Monday and lost. Did no one booking the tournament think that was a bad idea? Since when do debuting talents lose their first match? Thats not a thing! Even Brodus Clay and Fandango got months of victories to try and pick up momentum. Breeze got nothing. For starters, just dont put him in the tournament. There were 40 other guys to choose from. Or have someone put on the Doink costume and have him do the job. Ideally, Breeze would be beating up jobbers for a few months before getting an actual feud, except thats not really a thing anymore. If Breeze has to go in the tournament, have Ziggler punch him in the back of the head or hit him with a selfie stick in the butt, or something like that which would cost him the match. That attack would then continue their feud. A clean loss to Ambrose, even if he did put up a good fight, immediately defines the rookie down as a lower mid-card wrestler. Better take a picture of Breeze on the main roster. If this is his start, it may not last that long.
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
