I don't know about you, but I havent been this scared about a wrestling angle since Bray Wyatt had that young child with the deep voice prevent John Cena from putting his feet on the ground in that cage match! I still wake up screaming from that one a couple times a week. Things got super spooky at Hell in a Cell, when the planet saw its very first ever live ghost on TV. Its amazing that every news outlet didnt pick up that story. It looked like the Ghostbusters ghost trap in reverse. Poor little thing, whatever it was. Im not sure what exactly we were supposed to be witnessing, but I didnt like it. To make matters worse, Wyatt interrupting the main event marks two months in a row of pay-per-view main events not providing a clean finish. Wyatt also wasnt gone long enough to make up for how poorly he was booked the past few months to make his reappearance mean anything. The last time we saw him was just over a month ago in a tag match against Los Matadores. Before that he had lost 6 of his last 7 televised matches! Now were supposed to buy him as a main-eventer again? Well, WWE certainly doesnt, as the Ambrose vs. Wyatt feud was more of an afterthought on Raw than a focal point. In wrestling's past, weve seen a Yeti, a few vampires, The Boogeyman, a leprechaun, and now a ghost. Unfortunately the supernatural and hand-to-hand combat dont mix. At least the WWE Network is free in November. That way when a merman interferes in the Survivor Series main event you hopefully wont be that upset. Time to kick out.
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
