WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Nov 9)

3. Delay!

The WWE Network launched in the United States in late February. The rest of the world started to receive it over the next eight months or so, except for the UK. And they were so close too! Only hours before the network was supposed to launch, the UK got a good old-fashioned Montreal Screwjob from Vince McMahon himself! Subscription numbers for the network have been underwhelming, which means the more places WWE can get it on the air without major screw-ups, the better. What made the last minute disappointment even worse for fans was that WWE didn€™t have an answer for when the network would arrive. Just some vague answer of €œsoon.€ The initial announcement didn€™t even come with an apology, or a nice cake. I would've forgiven McMahon if he gave me a cake. So the boss had to step in and do some damage control and say he was sorry, sans baked goods. With the stock price struggling, and network subs remaining fairly flat, the last thing the company needed was another headache. Well, at least Uzbekistan has the network.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
