WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Oct 23)

It appears that the Cruiserweight Division is dead. Instead of Titus O'Neil and Darren Young wrestling for four to seven minutes in the segment before the main event on Raw, the Cruiserweights have taken over that spot, and it's roughly the same interest level. They don't get any hype, their personalities are bad (at least the way they're written) and getting placed in that dead zone timeslot, instead of opening the show has just sunk them all.

For starters, they are trying way too hard with T.J. Perkins. I get it, he likes videogames. Wait a second...so do I! Wow, he's my new favorite wrestler, he's just so relateable! Then there's Kendrick who's kind of awesome, but the whole "I'm 37 and this is my last chance ever and if I don't win I'll die!" stuff is a bit too much. Because that was his whole act in the CWC, which he lost...and then got a contract to be on Raw. And then he lost his big title match...and uh...well really, he's doing just fine. He doesn't need to worry so much.If wins and losses mattered, then R-Truth would have been fired seven years ago. Just chill out Kendrick.

And the biggest crime of all is that the best part of the entire division is Rich Swann's theme song, which they only played for 15 seconds this week!

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
