WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Oct 25)

3. Earlier Tonight?

So TNA had time to show the entirety of their pay-per-view main event from a few weeks ago on Impact...but could only show us the last 15 seconds of tournament matches with Jessie Godderz vs. Crimson, and Eli Drake vs. Micah? What in the hell is going on? As those small portions of the matches aired, a graphic on the screen said €œEarlier Tonight.€ Wait...what? When? I watched the entire show, there was no €œearlier tonight€ with those wrestlers. Did they mean earlier in the morning or something? This is a tournament for the world title, but matches in that tournament are also taking a backseat to Josh Matthews and The Pope playing €œSwipe left, swipe right€ in front of a green screen, and Godderz starring in a cheesy video that Lex Luger would have turned down during his Narcissist days because it was so lame. This decision to skip entire matches was one of the oddest decisions the company has made in months. We can only assume they accidentally threw the footage away, because that's something you could see them doing at this point.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
