WWE and their never-ending love of celebrities is one of their most annoying (of many annoying) traits. If a celebrity comes on their show, then they should be playing the role of someone who is intimidated by an unhinged professional fighter being in their presence, otherwise they can’t be on the show. Seriously.

Wrestlers are essentially actors, and they are portraying people who are supposed to be the toughest athletes on the planet. They also have quite bad tempers. But celebrities push them around verbally, or even physically on occasion, as if they’re little children.

Celebs should be written to approach heel wrestlers like they would Brock Lesnar or Conor McGregor in real life. See how grabbing a clipboard from Conor, and then insulting him to his face would go. Otherwise, if wrestlers are so afraid of confrontation and easily over-powered, then why don't they just hire celebrities to be their champs instead?

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
