WWE Backlash 1999: 5 Awesome Things And 5 That Sucked

1. The Undertaker Abducts Stephanie To End The Show

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gpBqMlBu99Q There was a lot of craziness in WWE at this point with Vince McMahon looking like he was going to become a babyface that felt like his son Shane wasn't trustworthy. It made it look like Vince was actually sympathetic towards Steve Austin, which was unheard of at the time. This was also a time in WWE when Stephanie McMahon had debuted as a performer in her early 20s. We didn't know much about her except that she was Vince McMahon's daughter. To end the show, she was waiting in a limo waiting for her dad. Then the limo drove off and of course there was a camera there. Stephanie was heard yelling for the driver to stop. She said they had to wait for her dad. The Undertaker turned to her (and the camera): "Where to, Stephanie?" She screamed. Vince was still in the arena, so he didn't know. It was a really cheesy line by Undertaker and one of those moments when WWE felt really silly. A camera in the limo? It was a bit too much. ---- What PPV do you want to see featured next?
