WWE Backlash 2023: 10 Nightmares That Could Come True

1. Or Takes The Title Off Raw’s Rhea Ripley

Or, they could do the unthinkable.

It wouldn't make sense to have IYO SKY take the Raw Women's Title from Bianca; Damage CTRL were drafted to Fridays too, so WWE would only have the same problem on their hands after Backlash if they made that surprise switch. Meanwhile, Rhea's opponent Zelina Vega makes a little more sense.

Ripley would likely be dead in the water as the alpha female of WWE's female ranks if she lost to an underdog like Zelina in this 'B' level mini-feud, but...the writing team have backed themselves into a corner by booking Rhea to win the SmackDown belt then stay on Raw during the Draft.

An easy, if unwanted, way to correct things would be to have SmackDown's Vega shockingly win the title, then have Rhea beat Bianca for the Raw Title in some hastily-arranged situation come Monday. Sounds sucky!
