Something brilliant is building on SmackDown involving The Bloodline. You'll have heard that one before, 'cause the faction has been a real linchpin for WWE's product in various forms since 2020-ish. Now, Solo Sikoa is taking the lead and possibly rebelling against directives from absentee leader Roman Reigns.

Please don't snuff that out at Backlash, creative team.

Solo and new recruit Tama Tonga simply have to win against Randy Orton and Kevin Owens. The Bloodline offshoot needs this more than R-KO does, and no-one can convince this writer otherwise. Fail, and they'll only look less like credible mutineers and more like the background joke WWE turned Jimmy Uso into for a while.

Paul Heyman cannot smugly pick up his phone post-match and call Roman to laugh at the misfortune of soldiers who think they should sit in the big chair. That'd neuter everything that's been happening on TV leading into this PLE. It's pretty vital that WWE protects Sikoa and Tonga.
