WWE Backlash 2024: 10 Things That Must Happen
1. Jacob Fatu Debuts With A Bang
A celebration that'd be cut short in a hurry.
Sure, all reports suggest Jacob Fatu won't debut any time soon, but plans can change. It'd be huge if he sprinted out of the crowd in France, leapt over the barrier and kicked the living sh*t out of Cody Rhodes as WWE officials tried to restore order. That'd be some way for this international PLE to go off the air.
It's only a matter of time before Roman Reigns returns to quiz Solo Sikoa on his recent behaviour. Jacob could play a role in that. He's either been sent by a vengeful Roman to wreak havoc on the man who beat him at 'Mania, or Solo took matters into his own hands by adding Fatu to his very own Bloodline spin off.
That's a sweet position for WWE's writers to be in. Having a red hot debutant like Jacob raring to go and multiple options for his positioning on TV? Wow, that's special. Paul Heyman's reaction will tell all. If he's outraged by Fatu's arrival, then everyone will know this was a Solo play and not a Roman call.
The plot thickens.
