From Mofos, to Anti-Divas; what other terms do WWE not want you to hear?

A list of terms WWE told their partners were strictly off-limits coming into last year's WrestleMania 36 PPV have now been revealed by Fightful Select.

While some of the well known no-nos when it comes to words used on WWE television were obviously present - such as "belt" and "WWF" - the likes of “needs a push” or “strangle" also found their way onto the all-important document.

On top of this, it was also confirmed that social media accounts associated to WWE were ordered not to reply to fans in the comments section, to refrain from speculating on future storylines and rumours, and to ensure they always presented the company and their performers in a positive light.

It's also interesting to note that the term "dirt sheets" was used during a significant part of the instructions, with partners told to “be sensitive of the language used and how it may be interpreted by dirt sheets.”

Those connected to the company were told to keep from encouraging violence in the WWE Universe too. Also, terms and talent names WWE do not have endorsement rights to were to be avoided, with Pedigree, The People's Eyebrow, Spear, and (everyone's go to phrase) Smell-La-La among said phrases.
