WWE Banned List - Why You Can't Say These 23 Terms

7. "U.S"

Whenever Lacey Evans struts into view, WWE's brainwashing announcers make sure to inform viewers that she proudly served her country in the Marines. Whenever they do that, Cole and company say she served the "United States".

It's never the "U.S".

That's because Vince McMahon banned the abbreviation years ago. 'U.S Army' wouldn't be acceptable to him, but 'United States Army' is perfectly fine and more respectful. Lord only knows why things need to be this picky when nobody gives a sh*t whether someone says 'U.S' or 'United States'.
