WWE Battleground: 10 Facts You Didn't Know
9. Seth Rollins Has Never Won
Seth Rollins will certainly be hoping so, but the second component
in the Triple Threat title match doesn’t have too good a record himself. In
fact, Rollins falls into the same category of having never scored an official
victory at the Battleground PPV.
Of course, he’ll argue that he was actually victorious at the 2014 instalment. Rollins announced himself the winner of his match with Dean Ambrose when his opponent failed to turn up. In the history books, though, this never went down as an official match and so Rollins’ winless record still stands.
His losses include the one from 2013 when teaming with Roman Reigns, and while there’s confusion as to whether or not his 2015 match with Brock Lesnar was a DQ loss or a no contest, either way Rollins wasn’t victorious.
He did manage to escape with the title, though — something he’ll be hoping to repeat this year when he faces Reigns and the current champ, Dean Ambrose.
And speaking of Ambrose, how does his record at Battleground compare?
