Or, they could be tempted to let Bayley sneak into the WWE Women's Title hunt. At the WWE Draft, there was a huge sense of disappointment when it became clear that the 'girl next door' character many had grown to cherish on NXT programming wouldn't be drafted to either Raw or SmackDown. Battleground set things right.

Sasha Banks couldn't resist a huge smile when he peered at the entrance way before Bayley's music hit. She likely knew the live crowd would go nuts, and they didn't let the side down. People seemed legitimately delighted to see Bayley, one of the freshest female characters WWE have presented in years.

Seeing her make a main roster debut on pay-per-view felt worth the wait, even if the finish existed to further issues between Banks and Charlotte. Seeing Bayley on the main roster was a moment even Corey Graves shed tears of joy for.

Hot on the heels of that deflation over the Draft, Bayley will hopefully now be part of the main roster for good. That wasn't expressly said on commentary, but it looks like happening.
