The outcome of the WWE Draft means that Battleground will be the last night (at least for a while) that the likes of The Wyatt Family and The Club team together. It's fairly odd that WWE decided to break up some groups, yet keep others intact, especially so soon before a pay-per-view.

Still, it was always predicted that the Draft would come first in terms of importance. Battleground seems to exist only as a preview of sorts to SummerSlam, but it's sitting in a strange place right now. At least WWE have the chance to produce a good card, because there are some tantalising matches on tap.

On the show, there are only three titles up for grabs. Neither the WWE Tag-Team or Women's Championships are on the line, but the WWE, Intercontinental and United States Titles could feasibly change hands.

Weighing up the positives and negatives from those potential changes says they shouldn't, the first episodes of Raw and SmackDown need to start with some consistency.

Here's what must happen at Battleground in order to make the show a success...

10. The Miz Eventually Retains The WWE Intercontinental Title

Since capturing the WWE Intercontinental Title just 24 hours after WrestleMania 32, The Miz has been a riot with the belt. Despite taking some time off to film The Marine 5, he didn't really lose any momentum. Miz has the kind of character that can explain a sabbatical, because his egotistical 'Hollywood Star' persona should claim he's in demand.

Darren Young did receive a big reaction on SmackDown when he locked in the Cross Face Chicken Wing, but it's surely unlikely that he'll leave Battleground as the new Intercontinental Champion. Right now, The Miz is the best choice to continue on in that role and take on fresh challenges.

When a champion is entertaining, they deserve the opportunity to continue their reign. Entertainment is something The Miz provides in ample doses anytime he appears on screen, so he should remain in the title hot seat.

Young's underdog character shouldn't be harmed by a loss, there's potential there to have that big title moment in the future. Right now is not the time for that though, Miz is on fire.
