Something else that's important to note about Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn, it was the longest match on the Battleground card. Running it close was the main event Triple Threat for the WWE Title, but Zayn vs. Owens was longer bell-to-bell. Once again, this was great decision-making from those calling the shots behind the scenes.

Of all the matches on the show, Zayn and Owens was the one sporting the most history. A wonderful video package shown several times throughout the night (both on the Kickoff and main show portions) really sold the breakdown in their relationship, giving ample reasoning for why the match was even taking place.

For around 18 minutes, Zayn and Owens enthralled everybody. There's no way this feud can end without another match, maybe even a stipulation bout at SummerSlam. Think of what this pair could do inside a Steel Cage, or with a Last Man Standing Match.

Longest match of the night at Battleground, and there's a definite case to say that Owens vs. Zayn was the best.
