When they come off, high-flying moves can look spectacular. Indeed, they can be the difference between a match that's given five stars and one that's decried as a messy botchfest. Just ask Rob Van Dam, there was a fine line between order and chaos in his spot-heavy matches.

At Battleground, Sami Zayn found out that botched aerial moves can actually suck some of the momentum from a match. Fighting off an attempted Powerbomb from Kevin Owens on the outside, he scaled the ring apron and tried to springboard himself off of the ropes into a Moonsault-type move. Unfortunately, things didn't go to plan.

Hitting the ropes with his butt more than the back of his knees, too much of Zayn's weight was leaning forwards, making it challenging for him to fully rotate. As a result, he came down hard on the back of his neck and head on the apron of the ring, barely glancing Owens in the process.

For a few minutes afterwards, poor Sami looked genuinely stunned, glassy-eyed and struggling to get his wits back about him.
