WWE Battleground 2016: 10 Things You Probably Missed

4. The Most Interesting Social Media Lounge Yet

There are those who just don't tune into the Kickoff show before pay-per-view events. Whilst that can be understandable, those who refrained from checking out the extra hour missed some good stuff at Battleground. One of the most notable points came during the 'Social Media Lounge' segment hosted by Tom Phillips.

Usually, these backstage skits can be inconsequential. One or two performers join Phillips and he asks a couple of softball questions from social media, the whole thing normally only lasts a few minutes. At Battleground, Mick Foley and Daniel Bryan seemed intent on making the segment more worthwhile than it ever has been.

They succeeded, and not just because of their attention to detail. Dressed in t-shirts relevant to the brands they represent as General Managers, Bryan and Foley also had some interesting answers.

When asked which WWE Hall Of Famer they'd like to draft to Raw and SmackDown, Foley answered Terry Funk and Bryan plumped for Shawn Michaels. Then, they actually did try their best to put over the differences each show will feature.

Top job, fellas.
