Credit where credit is due, Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan have really put their all into supporting SmackDown since the WWE Draft. During every appearance, the pair talk about what they plan to do with the show, putting focus onto the actual wrestlers themselves. It's inspiring stuff from each respective character.

At Battleground, both were at ringside to cheer on Dean Ambrose in the WWE Title Triple Threat affair. Joining them were Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley, with fans being told they were hoping for either Seth Rollins or Roman Reigns to leave with the title due to their affiliation to Raw.

Mainly, they were all for Rollins, but never really looked too invested in the action. By contrast, Shane and Bryan were on the edge of their seats for many near falls and big bumps. They really sold the importance of the match to SmackDown, which was refreshing to witness.

Shane was even sweating profusely at one point, making eye contact with his General Manager and living every punch, kick and move.
