WWE Battleground 2017: Best Booking Scenarios For Each Match

... or silver, technically. This feud has been a rare bright spot in the mostly dismal build-up to Battleground.

SmackDown Live doesn't have the best tag team division at the moment, largely due to WWE's decision to let both brands have their own separate championships. So the best thing for everyone involved is for The New Day to win the championships.

Why? Because this is one rivalry that definitely deserves to be prolonged. The Usos have already held on to their titles once before against The New Day, losing via count-out at Money in the Bank. If Jimmy and Jey get a clean win here, there's not as much of a reason to keep this feud going.

The Usos have shown that they are their best as delusional, cocky heels. Taking away the thing that they hold most dear may take the twins out of their comfort zone, but imagine how frighteningly unhinged it could make them become. Not only would it make for incredibly compelling television, but the championships being the lynch pin behind all of this would seriously elevate the belts.

Some may argue that Woods, Kingston, and E winning the straps would delay their inevitable break-up. Which is definitely a good thing. WWE has gone particularly overboard with splitting up tag teams lately.
