WWE Battleground 2017: Best Booking Scenarios For Each Match

Yes, Tamina Snuka is an odd choice to be involved in a big match at WWE SummerSlam. But hear me out.

First of all, SmackDown Live's women's division has a heel problem. The biggest names (Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, and Naomi) are all faces, while the heels come off as second rate as comparison. Something has to change.

Enter Tamina. She has the potential to be SDL's equivalent of Nia Jax, an unstoppable destroyer. She has shown that she's more than capable in the ring, but hasn't really been given much of a chance in her seven years with the company. Any promo issues could be solved by her new, bizarre alliance with Lana, who's so good on the microphone she could probably make Roman Reigns popular.

The feud between Naomi and Tamina has real potential. Lana and Naomi already have a feud going, so it's easy to build off of that. Additionally, Naomi and Tamina are both former faction partners and family members (albeit through Naomi's marriage to Jimmy Uso).

Given that it's an elimination match, multiple women can look strong here. Lana can be taken out almost immediately, while either Lynch or Flair can remove Natalya. From there, Lana returns to help Snuka eliminate both Charlotte and Becky.

It's time to give Tamina a shot.
