While some of those watching Raw last night may have missed it, Je'Von Evans has officially joined WWE's red brand.

The Young OG is the latest NXT name to make the main roster jump, though this announcement happened during a commercial break, meaning those in the US will have missed this. For those of us watching outside of the US, though, Raw continues on through those ad breaks, where you get to see a match continue or get some sort of promo spot.

Je'Von was welcomed out by Raw General Manager Adam Pearce, who offered the 21-year-old a contract that the talent promptly signed, making Evans the latest member of the Raw roster.

Having signed with WWE in late 2023, Je'Von Evans made his Raw debut back in November, competing against Gunther in the first round of The Last Time Is Now Tournament. Last month saw him reappear on Monday nights to pick up a win over Rayo Americano, and he spent the holiday season working various main roster live dates in losses to the Ring General.

Not just did Je'Von officially sign with Raw last night, but he also worked a WWE Main Event match prior to Raw, where he grabbed a win over Julius Creed.

Despite only being 21 years of age, Evans is a seven-year pro by this point, having made his in-ring debut for Fire Star Pro Wrestling when he was just 14. By 2022, Je'Von would become a standout of DEADLOCK Pro, becoming the DPW Worlds Champion, and he'd also wrestle a handful of matches for AEW in 2022 and 2023. Je'Von last wrestled for NXT on the 30 December episode, losing to former NXT Champion Ricky Saints.

The Je'Von Evans call-up comes hot on the heels of Trick Williams signing with SmackDown on Friday, with it also heavily teased that Jordynne Grace and Joe Hendry will be formally joining the blue brand - all while vignettes for Oba Femi continue to play on both Raw and SmackDown.
