WWE Clash Of Champions 2016: 10 Things That Must Happen

1. Kevin Owens Gets A Big Win Over Seth Rollins

Finn Balor's injury was unfortunate, but WWE pulled the proverbial iron from the fire and rescued proceedings by elevating Kevin Owens. Prior to his Irish peer's problems, Owens seemed set to nestle snugly into the mid card for a while, teaming with Chris Jericho and possibly even challenging The New Day for the Raw Tag-Team Titles.

Now, he's Raw's top champion. Management have committed to the idea of Owens being a main event star, even having Stephanie McMahon tell Seth Rollins on the latest episode of the show that she fully believes KO is the man to lead Raw against SmackDown Live.

The next step in cementing Owens as WWE Universal Champion is having him beat Seth Rollins at Clash Of Champions. Such a win doesn't necessarily need to be 100% clean, Owens is a heel who will do anything to emerge victorious after all, but he must come out with that belt raised high above his head.

Switching the title so rapidly to Rollins won't do anyone any favours, it'd simultaneously wreck Owens and make Seth's job establishing the strap that much harder.
