Clash Of Champions marked 399 days in the WWE Tag-Team Title hot seat for The New Day. When the group first appeared as smiling, dancing babyfaces several years ago, it seemed hard to believe that they'd find such success. New Day had to first turn heel before gently winning over the core WWE audience.

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson will always be decent heel challengers, but there was no way they were leaving the pay-per-view with the gold. WWE management know they have something special with Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods, there's no need to spoil the party quite yet.

By virtue of their victory on the pay-per-view, The New Day will roll onto the next episode of Monday Night Raw with their titles. The lengthy reign continues, and Raw will mark 400 days on top. Kingston made sure to mention they had held the belts for 399 days during his pre-match promo inside the ring.

That's impressive, and a sign of how entertaining New Day have been since bursting onto the scene. Few could have predicted a 400-day reign in the modern era.
