WWE Clash Of Champions 2016: 10 Things WWE Got Right

4. Removing Focus From Ongoing Dana Brooke Drama

Things are definitely coming to a head between Charlotte and Dana Brooke. Previously, the Raw Women's Champion had taken Brooke under her wing, but a series of slaps, mistakes and other mishaps have soured the relationship. Smartly, WWE kept that drama away from the Triple Threat bout at Clash Of Champions.

Dana was around ringside, but she didn't mess up or raise the ire of Charlotte during the match. Had she become too involved, it might have taken away from the actual in-ring action, diluting what Charlotte, Sasha Banks and Bayley were trying to achieve. That trio have a story all on their own anyway.

Coming up through the ranks of NXT, Charlotte, Banks and Bayley revolutionised women's wrestling in WWE. It was vital that they were the sole focus at Clash Of Champions, and that proved to be the case. Meanwhile, Dana played a supporting act, preventing the match from revolving around an inevitable split from her on screen mentor.

There's time to let that story breathe, so it was great to see WWE take their time and let the wrestling take centre stage.
