WWE Clash Of Champions 2016: 10 Things WWE Got Right

5. Sticking With Charlotte As The Raw Women's Champion

It's still a little confusing that WWE didn't book a first Raw Women's Title win for Sasha Banks on pay-per-view. Instead, that victory was used to provide the first post-Draft episode of Raw with a major moment. Banks toppled Charlotte on July 25, but was then humbled herself at SummerSlam, making Charlotte the first two-time champ in the title's short history.

As the top heel in the division, Charlotte was backed into a seemingly impossible situation by General Manager Mick Foley at Clash Of Champions. Not only would she have to contend with 'The Boss', but Bayley was also pushed into the situation. A title change was very much possible during this Triple Threat.

WWE decided against switching the belt once more, keeping it around Charlotte's waist for the time being. That was a good idea, simply because the title would lose credibility if it was continually passed around with little longevity between reigns.

Charlotte is still the best female villain WWE have on their roster, so it's wise to have top babyfaces strive to chase her for the gold.
