Kevin Owens isn't the type of person who makes a secret of the fact he's a lifelong pro wrestling fan. This only further endears him to a certain section of the core audience, they identify with Owens and live vicariously through him. Clash Of Champions was a huge moment for KO, it was his first headlining performance on WWE pay-per-view.

Stepping through the curtain, the reigning and defending WWE Universal Champion looked like this was an everyday occurrence for him. Inside though, he must have been buzzing with excitement. Recognising the moment, Michael Cole delivered a quick fire fact that probably slipped the net for most.

On September 24, 1995, Owens attended the WWF's In Your House 3 event. According to Cole, it was his father who had taken him to the event, buying tickets for the then 10-year old Kevin. That night, the future Universal Champ watched as Shawn Michaels and Diesel battled Owen Hart and Yokozuna in the pay-per-view's main event.

Putting little stories such as this one into commentary adds so much weight to the people behind the characters on WWE television. Cole deserves credit for the In Your House tale.
