WWE Clash Of Champions 2016: 10 Things You May Have Missed
1. Kevin Owens Does The DX Crotch Chop
In late-August, Triple H invaded the ring during a Fatal-4-Way headliner on Monday Night Raw and helped Kevin Owens become the new WWE Universal Champion. Such a story was thrown together at the last-minute, largely due to Finn Balor's unfortunate injury meaning the Irish star had to vacate his newly-won title.
At first, it seemed like 'The Game' was there to aid Seth Rollins, but the veteran then battered his former golden boy with a Pedigree and watched as Owens picked up the pinfall win. Since then, fans haven't seen Triple H on TV, although there have been suggestions from Rollins that KO is working with him.
Perched on the announce table at Clash Of Champions, Owens furthered that idea by aiming a crotch chop at the referee. Then, he turned to Rollins - who was laid out on the other announce desk - and performed the same action at him before crashing through the table.
Later, Rollins did the same crotch chop, but that was inside the ring and therefore more obvious. The camera cut away after Owens had performed the signature D-Generation X gesture each time, making it easy to miss.
