WWE Clash Of Champions: 9 Results Predictions
1. Roman Reigns Vs. Jey Uso
Remember that self-deprecating simile two slides back regarding the excavation prowess required to prise a Darwin from a Yorkshireman's coin purse? Well, magnify that belaboured expression by about ten million, and you'll have a slight underestimation of Jey Uso's chances of taking Roman Reigns' Universal Championship this Sunday.
Predictable though the outcome is, there's a lot of credit to go around here. A headline programme between the cousins was just about the last thing anybody expected in 2020 (besides, you know, a tremendously virulent illness ravaging the entire world as we know it), and Uso himself has been blistering on the mic, particularly during his SmackDown go-home promo.
It's a shame his good work obviously can't be rewarded with the gold, then, for reasons which scarcely need explicating. It is, however, another reminder of what an asset Jey Uso is to WWE, and a promising sign that should the brothers ever split, they'll be more Hardyz and less Dudleyz.
Prediction: Roman Reigns
