WWE Crown Jewel: 10 Last-Minute Rumours You Need To Know
1. The Undertaker Shows Up
Well, he *is* over there at the moment.
Crown Jewel feels weirdly light on WWE's typical Crusty Old Men count, with only Hogan and Flair ticking that weird nostalgia box. As mentioned in the Austin entry, the lack of some special attraction "veterans" match is a relative first for WWE's exploits in the Middle East, with no Triple H, Goldberg, Kane, HBK or Deadman in sight.
It took one hell of a tag team match with Roman Reigns to wash the stink of Super ShowDown match from the Undertaker's latter-day record, so it's understandable why he hasn't offered to get back into the ring. However his appearance, in whatever capacity that ends up being, would be a hell of a crowd popper and a safe way to actually use him.
As it stands there's no real suggestion of what he could specifically do on the show. An interference to help Reigns or cost Flair seems to be the logical suggestion, or there's the old favourite of sending some poor heel out to wind up the crowd only to get a boot to their face for the trouble a la Elias at WrestleMania.
