WWE Crown Jewel: 10 Things That Must Happen

1. Shawn Michaels Applauds The Winner

Maybe it's lost on a show like this, but seeing Shawn Michaels come out on Friday to show deference to the winner between AJ Styles and Samoa Joe would be huge for WWE overall. It's the kind of cliffhanger ending pay-per-views sometimes lack, and it'd signal that HBK was moving out of nostalgic tag matches into the now.

AJ is the man who should come out smiling against Samoa Joe. He beat a game Daniel Bryan on SmackDown and it'd cement him as the brand's hardest worker if he beat Joe a few days later. After that, he'd have beaten all comers and would be looking for a fresh challenge to overcome.

Enter Michaels.

WWE have the benefit of scheduling on their side. They can easily ignite the torch paper on a Styles vs. Michaels match then side-step for Survivor Series and TLC over the next few months. Then, come Royal Rumble time, they can re-ignite things and get the ball rolling on a 'Mania match that'd mean everything to AJ.
