That's not to say he could easily handle a 30-minute main event without any bells and whistles.

If WWE are going to promote a third WrestleMania match between Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker next spring, then they better have some distractions in mind. Firstly, the match will need some sort of No DQ gimmick so the legends can trade weapon shots and brawl around ringside.

Secondly, they'll need around 10-15 minutes shaved off the match bell-to-bell. Realistically, leaving people wanting more is preferable to having them watch through cracks in their fingers as two old faves run out of steam. This, more so than any match on next year's card, will require careful planning and serious thought.

Again, Michaels showed at Crown Jewel he's capable. He was the glue holding the match together, and he sold admirably when Triple H recovered outside the ring. When things could have gone to sh*t, HBK and 'Taker proved they could squeeze in another match if WWE meet them halfway.
