WWE Crown Jewel 2021: Every Match Ranked From Worst To Best
2. WWE SmackDown Women's Title: Becky Lynch (c) Vs. Bianca Belair Vs. Sasha Banks
Result: Becky rolls Sasha up to retain the title (19:25).
Rating: Everyone was on absolute fire here from the jump, but Bianca was the sure star of the show, proving why her #1 spot on the 2021 PWI Women's 150 was thoroughly well-earned.
Lynch retaining felt academic from the opening bell but they tried hard to convince us otherwise with the thrilling back-and-forth action. It maintained a frantic pace from the beginning and never let up.
Sure, WWE's lazy multi-person formula occasionally drew attention to itself as per usual, but there were also a ton of fun moments that made use of all three women at once.
It's easy to consider the ending a little on the anti-climactic side, but it's refreshing when these big matches don't always wrap up with relentless finisher spam.
Becky holding the rope for leverage was perfectly on-brand for her character right now, and given the quality of the wrestling, it was hard to feel short-changed by the outcome.
A few minutes too long perhaps, but overall very good. 8/10
