WWE Crown Jewel 2022: 10 Things That Must Happen

9. AJ Styles Pins Dominik Mysterio

Admittedly, Judgment Day has been ticking along quite nicely following early struggles and a notable mid-term slump. Finn Bálor, Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio stand proudly as survivors of the Vinnie Mac > Triple H creative change, and they should be proud of that.

AJ Styles has some backup of his own now too. Karl Anderson and big Luke Gallows are in his corner as The OC, and their own revival on Raw should earn them a 'W' come Crown Jewel. Why not? Dominik losing to Styles is hardly a disgrace, and WWE can always weave that into the JD narrative by having Rhea punish him for coming up short.

AJ could do with some revenge after losing to Dom on TV a few weeks back anyway.

This is another match that qualifies for the "sleeper hit" category. It could even open the night if that spot doesn't go to The Usos vs. Brawling Brutes.
