Did anyone else spot the subtle foreboding at Crown Jewel? Drew McIntyre was a physical distraction for Dolph Ziggler against Kurt Angle and instrumental in his Semi Final win over old foe Seth Rollins. Then, when Drew wasn't around, Ziggler was crushed by that hard man Shane-O-Mac.

This had to be WWE's way of making it clear how important McIntyre is to Dolph's success, and it'll likely play a part in a split angle at some point. Before then, Raw's writers can pen another chapter in the pair's Tag Title hunt. Ziggler and McIntyre are the best choice to take the titles from dysfunctional ex-pals Rollins and Dean Ambrose.

It was nice of WWE to use the (otherwise pointless) World Cup as set up for something like that. At least they showed some foresight, and it added another layer to the story that Ziggler struggles without Drew there to do some heavy lifting.

That sort of intrigue is all that's needed to make stories more interesting.
