WWE Crown Jewel: 8 Things WWE Got Right

5. Giving Braun Strowman An Out

So, to recap, Braun Strowman is a kick out machine who takes between four-five finishers before going down for the count. He's basically that pesky CPU opponent in WWE 2K19 who is a damage sponge and won't be beaten without some serious frustration. He's also right back at square one after losing to Brock Lesnar.

If nothing else, he has an out and someone to focus his anger on.

Booking Baron Corbin to belt Braun with the Universal Title gives the big man reason to launch full-tilt into another babyface reign and mow down the temporary Raw GM; this fan actually believes this could lead to a berth on SmackDown, but that's all guesswork. Before then (if it even happens) Strowman will maul Corbin with some Running Powerslams.

Despite losing, Braun looked fairly strong. Again, he powered out of Brock's go-to F-5 more than once, refused to stay down and heroically refused to complain post-loss. He was booked to look dignified in defeat when a grievance was there, and the Corbin belt shot gives him an excuse.
