WWE Day 1 2022: 10 Things That Must Happen

There are some fans out there who'd perhaps crucify suggestions that The Miz should beat Edge on Saturday night. F*ck it - he should, man. It's hardly like the 'Rated-R Superstar' would never recover from a tainted loss to someone with the career Miz has had, and WWE defo has somewhere cool to go with the story afterwards.

That's especially true if Maryse interferes on her hubby's behalf.

Picture it: Maryse helps Miz score a victory that leaves Edge looking dejected. Then, 24 hours later, Beth Phoenix runs out to rag doll that meddling bitch all over the ring and send Raw's crowd into raptures. In an instant, WWE would have the means to set up a bumper mixed tag for WrestleMania 38.

That'd be a solid use of everybody here, but Miz needs to "steal one" from Edge in order to get there. He and Maryse have previous when it comes to fun mixed tags at 'Mania. How about seeing another, and getting the bonus of Edge teaming with Beth on WWE's grandest stage into the bargain?
