WWE Day 1 2022: 10 Things That Must Happen

4. Bobby Lashley Is Blinded By Revenge

An absolute tank like Bobby Lashley shouldn't let that stomp on the steel steps go. If anything, MVP's man should angrily roar into battle at Day 1 and target both Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins for trying to take him out of the pay-per-view equation like a pair of pr*cks.

Anything less makes big Bob look foolish.

Most wrestling multi-mans like this have some sort of subplot to them. This bout's side quest (for lack of a better term) is Lashley trying to injure Rollins and/or Owens. He'd be blinded by that, and would end up taking his eyes of the prize. Basically, Bobby would cost himself the chance to become WWE Champ again.

Think Braun Strowman back at SummerSlam 2017. That's the kind of wrecking machine Lashley needs to be this weekend. Being booked to suplex and toss everyone around like a man possessed might also get him one step closer to that elusive Brock Lesnar match too.

Just saying.
