WWE Draft 2016: Predicting The 6 NXT Wrestlers Who'll Be Drafted

2. Bayley

Bayley has nothing left to do in NXT.

She helped build the NXT Women's division alongside her fellow “Four Horsewomen” Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte, and anchored it when all three were called-up to the main roster at the same time. She’s had the show-stealing TakeOver matches and a long, successful title reign, but Asuka is more than ready to carry the division on her back now, and it’s time for Bayley to move-on.

Aside from a potential championship rematch with The Empress of Tomorrow, Bayley’s story is complete. The plucky underdog captured Full Sail’s hearts and imaginations many moons ago, and reached her zenith by defeating Banks for the NXT Women’s Championship last August, then making history by successfully defending it in WWE’s first-ever 30-minute Iron Women match.

Her reign ended by Asuka’s hand at TakeOver: Dallas back in April, but Bayley has continued in a prominent position. In falling victim to Nia Jax, Bayley played a key role in establishing the Samoan’s credibility as a challenger ahead of her own showdown with Asuka, who herself has benefitted immensely from having a sympathetic foil like Bayley to contrast her ruthless, hard-hitting style.

There are no more stories left for Bayley to tell in NXT, but on Raw or SmackDown? That’s a completely different story...
